"The selected art works and objects on display offer transformations of their subject matter, dissolving recognizable forms into artificiality and illusion. The installation of Avon bottles, around which the the exhibition is based, has been assembled by co-curators Alice Kain and Jonathan Sommer. This piece, using the outre theme of Avon bottles, encourages a playful interpretation for the rest of the exhibition. We invite the viewer to consume the sights and smells without longing for meaning, instead to be entertained by the collision of artistic mediadisplayed in the S&S Project gallery space."
